  This procedure requires the body to be removed from the integrated body frame.

:
  In this procedure the front side member is replaced in cojunction with hood latch panel, front wheelhouse and the front crossmember.

. Load vehicle onto ramp.

. Disconnect both the battery cables.

. L/H side: Remove the battery.

. Remove the front fender.

. Remove the hood latch panel.

. Remove the front crossmember.

. Remove the front wheelhouse.

. Remove the hood.

. Remove both hood support struts.

. Remove the hood wiring harness.

. Remove the plenum chamber panel.

. Remove both wiper arms and blades.

. L/H side: Remove the power steering fluid reservoir.

. Remove the instrument panel.

. Remove the insulation from outer and inner bulkhead.

. R/H side: Release the ABS modulator.

. R/H side: Remove the accelerator pedal.

. L/H side: Remove the battery junction box.

. Release the wiring harness from bulkhead.

. Release the wiring harness from fender apron panel reinforcement.

. Release the wiring harness from the side member.

. L/H side: Remove the fuel fired booster heater.

. Remove the scuff plate trim panel trim

. Remove the footrest

. Remove the cowl side trim panel.

. Release the front carpet.
